Leadership lessons from computer games

“How you play games is how you play life,” says Dr Jason Gould. In this conversation, we discuss how the World of Tanks Blitz game helps him develop new skills he can apply when leading the team at Chislehurst Chiropractic Clinic.

Creating a vision statement and building a family friendly culture in the game has meant his group has become one of the world’s largest. He uses the same skills in real life, to identify the right recruits, bring his team together, and develop their leadership skills.

We cover topics including:

  • Gamification
  • Breaking an arrow on the soft part of your throat
  • Adapting activities for different audiences and group sizes
  • Tennis ball team-building game
  • Nerve/tendon demonstration
