Here’s a quick and easy way of getting a big audience into smaller groups. It takes less than two minutes and the only thing you need is a room with plenty of space.

It doesn’t really matter which numbers you choose to divide them into, nor how many times you get them to rearrange themselves. For example, you could ask them to sort themselves into groups of 10, then 3, then 6. You can then run your next activity, or draw out a lesson about how it feels to be included… or excluded.
