Higher / Lower
When you have to communicate numbers, you can distribute or display a spreadsheet – but that might not be the most enticing way to engage people .
Instead, you can play Higher or Lower. Just prepare some visual aids, get some volunteers to help you, and ask your audience to guess whether the next figure that’s revealed is higher or lower than the one before. You can be sure they will enjoy the session much more – and have more chance of remembering the lessons you draw out.
After this particular demonstration, I explained why some of the emails have a higher click rate than others. (It’s because videos always get more clicks, while visual calls to action buttons work better than text links.)
